What is it ?
The rim joint is welded and then milled.
Benefits:
* The strength of the joint is equal to 90% (60% for a pin-jointed rim) of the strength of the rest of the rim
* No shuddering when braking
* Wheel building and balancing is easier
Process:
After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish
