FTS freehubs (for old hubs like a Helium):
M40066 pawls - for FTS freehubs - it's VERY important to get the correct pawls. No others will work.

FTS-L freehubs (for most modern Mavic road freehubs):
M40578 pawls for FTS-L freehubs

FTS-X freehubs (for most modern high end Mavic MTB freehubs, like Crossmax):
M40580 freehub for Shimano nine speed
324 303 01 pawls for FTS-X freehubs (yup, they changed the p/n convention. This is the new style)

Some MTB freehubs will be the FTS-L type. If you take your MTB hub apart and the pawls have a little red plastic collar then that's an FTS-X type.

The difference between the FTS and the FTS-L freehubs is that the large cartridge bearing on the large open end of the freehub shell was replaced by a bushing in the newer FTS-L type. For this reason, a lot of people like the older FTS type. And, the
pawls changed. The easy way to tell the difference between the pawls is that the newer M40578 pawls will hold the springs. On the M40066, the springs have to be carefully held in place when you put the freehub body back on the hub. It's a bit of a tricky
manuever. If FTS-L types are kept clean (i.e. you service them once or twice a year) they will last a VERY long time. IMHO, the newer wheels are better. The most bulletproof road wheel that I know of is the Kysrium SL 06. For a combination of price,
performance, toughness, AND maintainability, you can't buy a better wheel, again, IMHO.
